The Autohive mobile app brings your agents and workspaces to iOS and Android. Chat with agents, review and action approvals acrosss all your worksapces from your phone.


Getting started

Signing in

Open the app and sign in using one of the following methods:

  • Email and password — Enter your Autohive email address and password.
  • Sign in with Google — Available on both iOS and Android.
  • Sign in with Apple — Available on iOS only.

If you’ve forgotten your password, tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen to receive a reset code by email.


The app has three tabs at the bottom of the screen:

Workspaces

The Workspaces tab gives you access to your workspaces and their agents.

Tap the workspace selector at the top of the screen to see all workspaces and switch between them.

The main area of the screen shows all the agents in your currently selected workspace. Tap any agent to open a new chat. Existing chats with an agent are available via the Chat History icon on the agent screen.

Finding agents

You can search and sort your agents to find the one you need quickly.

Search for an agent:

  1. Tap the search bar at the top of the workspace screen.
  2. Type the name of the agent you’re looking for. The list filters as you type.
  3. Tap the clear button (×) to reset the search.

Sort your agents:

  1. Tap the sort button next to the search bar.
  2. Choose how you want to organize them:
    • Alphabetical A-Z — Alphabetical order
    • Recently added — Agents you’ve chatted with most recently appear first

Favorited agents will always show at the top of the list with the sorting option.

Your sort preference is saved and applies the next time you open the workspace.


Chat

Tapping an agent opens the chat screen where you can have a conversation in real time.

Sending messages

  • Type your message and tap the Send icon button.
  • Tap the Attach icon button to add a file, photo, or camera capture.
  • Tap the Stop icon button to cancel an agent action that is in progress.

Copying messages

You can copy text from any agent message to your clipboard.

  1. Locate the message you want to copy.
  2. Tap the copy button that appears below the agent’s message.
  3. The message text is now ready to paste elsewhere.

Attachments

You can attach the following to your messages:

  • Photos from your camera or photo library
  • Files from your device

Tap any file or image in the chat to view it.

See your attachments before they send

When you attach a file or image to a message, you’ll see a preview of it in your sent message bubble right away. This helps you confirm you’ve sent the right files without waiting for the message to finish sending.

Image viewer

When you tap an image in chat, it opens in a full-screen viewer with the following features:

  • Pinch to zoom — Use two fingers to zoom in and examine details. Zoom out by pinching inward.
  • Pan while zoomed — Drag your finger to move around the zoomed image.
  • Swipe to dismiss — Swipe down to close the viewer and return to the chat.
  • Save to device — Tap the save button to download the image to your photo library.

The viewer uses a dark background to help you focus on the image content.

Chat history

Tap the chat list icon to see all previous conversations with an agent. Select a conversation to load its history.

Connection status

If your connection drops, a banner appears at the top of the chat. The app reconnects automatically when your network is restored.


Action Box

The Action Box tab shows all pending approval requests across your workspaces. A badge on the tab indicates how many approvals are waiting.

Reviewing an approval

Each approval shows:

  • Title and description of what needs approval
  • The workspace and agent it relates to
  • When it was created

Tap an approval to open it. You can:

  • Approve — Allow the action to proceed.
  • Reject — Decline the action.

Tap the approval to navigate directly to the related conversation in chat.

Pull down on the list to refresh and check for new approvals.


Account

The Account tab shows your profile and plan details.

Profile

Your name, email address, and avatar are displayed at the top of the screen.

Plan

Your current plan is shown below your profile. Tap it to open the plan switcher and select a different plan if you have access to multiple.

Signing out

Tap Sign out at the bottom of the screen. You’ll be asked to confirm before being returned to the sign-in screen.


Push notifications

When a new approval is created for you, you’ll receive a notification with the workspace name, tool name, and a description of the action. Tap the notification to open the app directly to that approval.


Offline behaviour

When your device is offline:

  • The sign-in button is disabled until connectivity is restored.
  • A banner is shown in chat if the real-time connection is interrupted.
  • The app reconnects automatically when you come back online.
