Meetings
Meetings lets you record audio directly in Autohive and automatically transcribe and summarise the conversation. When a recording ends, the transcript is saved to your Content Area and a dedicated agent analyses it — surfacing key points, decisions, and action items.
Access Meetings by clicking the Meetings tab in your workspace header.
Starting a meeting
- Click New meeting in the top right of the Meetings panel.
- Click Start Recording when you are ready to begin.
- Allow microphone access if prompted by your browser.
A green pulsing indicator and a running timer confirm that recording is active.
During a recording
While recording is in progress:
- A timer shows how long the session has been running.
- The recording is chunked and uploaded continuously in the background.
- If you try to navigate away, you will be warned that leaving will lose the recording.
To stop, click Stop Recording. The audio is then uploaded, finalised, and transcribed automatically. You will see progress status as it moves through each stage:
- Uploading audio
- Finalising
- Transcribing
After a meeting
Once transcription is complete, the Meeting Transcription Agent automatically:
- Names the conversation based on the content of the transcript
- Posts a summary to the conversation covering:
- A brief overview of the meeting
- Key points and decisions
- Action items
- Important topics discussed
The full transcript is also saved to your Content Area under Meetings/{conversation name}/ as a Markdown file, where it can be searched and referenced by other agents.
Browsing past meetings
The left panel lists all your recorded meetings grouped by date — Today, Yesterday, or the full date. Click any meeting to open the conversation and view the transcript summary.
Use the date filter at the top of the list to jump to meetings from a specific day. Click the × to clear the filter and show all meetings.
Technical notes
- Recordings are captured directly through your browser microphone (web) or system audio (desktop app).
- Maximum recording length is 4 hours.
- Audio is automatically chunked every 3 minutes and uploaded in the background, so a connection drop won’t lose your entire session.
- Sessions time out after 15 minutes of inactivity.
